Before we dive into the steps to get rid of spam emails, let's understand what spam emails are. Spam refers to unsolicited, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages sent over the internet, typically to a large number of users. These emails are sent for various purposes, such as advertising products, spreading malware, or phishing for sensitive information.

  1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication: Adding an extra layer of security reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your email account.

    1. Select an email from a newsletter you no longer want to be subscribed to
    2. Click Unsubscribe on the top menu 
  7. If you want to delete spam email that has already landed in your inbox, use Baxter’s Bulk Remove feature (just next to the Unsubscribe button).
  8. Report Spam Emails: Use the "report as spam" feature in your email client to help your provider identify and block future spam from the same sender.
  9. Use Disposable Email Addresses: When signing up for websites or services, consider using disposable email addresses to protect your primary email from spam.
  10. Minimize Sharing Email Online: Avoid displaying your email address on public forums or social media where spambots can scrape it.
  11. Create Organized Folders: Use folders to categorize and organize your emails for easier management. Create your own or use Baxter’s pre-defined Labels to nest your emails under specific categories. If you get a message nested under Other or not labeled at all, you are alerted to double-check if the sender is legitimate. To create a custom label:
    1. Go to your Baxter’s dashboard and click on Labels
    2. Next to Custom Labels, choose Add New Label
    3. Specify the labels’ name and addresses to be nested under it
